603 Driving School was established in 2016 by Tom Linane.

Owner and Founder: Family Owned and Operated

Tom Linane is a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired Police Officer from the town of Hampton. Tom also served as a D.A.R.E., Juvenile, and School Resource Officer. He has coached girls and boys soccer, basketball, and softball. Tom is a respected member of the Portsmouth community where he has resided for more than 24 years with his wife Melinda, a Doctor of Nursing Practice. tom has been married for 28 years and has two beautiful daughters, Ashley who is a Float Pool Nurse at WDH and studying at UNH to be a Nurse Practitioner and Brittany who is a Telemetry Nurse at WDH. Tom likes to spend his spare time traveling, working out, boating, going to Sox games and enjoying his family and friends.

Meet our Team

Vice President of Operations 

Dr. Melinda Linane, RN, VP of Operations is a nurse leader. She has earned five degrees in nursing and business. She is the recipient of several leadership awards throughout her career and is most passionate about serving and advocating for nurses and nursing staff.  


Ashley Linane, BSN, APRN, administrator is a graduate of Portsmouth High School where she played varsity Lacrosse and Basketball.  Ashley graduated from Fitchburg State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and was recruiter to play goalie for their Lacrosse team. Ashley works at WDH as a nurse, charge nurse and preceptor.  She has recently graduated with her Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of New Hampshire.  Ashley has recently been recognized for the MGB Pillar of Excellence award.  Ashley enjoys spending her spare time traveling, working out, going to Boston team events and spending time with her two dogs, Oakley and Bodie, family and friends.

Our Classroom and Driving Instructors

All of our instructors are state certified, have been cleared with criminal background checks and have been fully vaccinated.

Brittany Linane BSN, RN is a graduate of Portsmouth High School where she played Varsity Field Hockey, Basketball and Lacrosse.  She earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Fitchburg State University where she played goalie for their Field Hockey team.  Brittany works as Nurse and Preceptor on the telemetry floor at Wentworth Douglass Hospital. Brittany has received the prestigious Daisy award twice in her young career for her exceptional patient care. Brittany has aspirations to become a nurse practitioner and help children with cancer. In her spare time she loves to read, travel, workout, going to Sox and Celtics games and spend time with her family.

Adrianna Bunker is a graduate of Portsmouth High School and owns a hair salon business.  She has been cutting and styling hair for 10+ years.  Adrianna lives in Portsmouth and loves working out and enjoys spending time with her two dogs, family and friends. 

Charlie Fontaine has over 32 years of teaching experience.  He taught 20 years at Central Maine Community College, 12 years at Mount Blue Regional School District and 1 year as an everyday substitute teacher at Spaulding High School.  He also played hockey in High School and went on to coach youth hockey for 14 years. Charlie is also a small business owner and has been married to the love of his life for 42 years.  He is a proud father of two wonderful children; his daughter Vanessa who is a Nurse Practitioner and his son Luke who is a travel Nurse in Florida.  Charlie and his wife love spending time with family especially their two beautiful grandchildren, relaxing in their pool during the summer, and traveling.

Josh Droesch earned his degree at the University of New Hampshire where he played football. He is currently a teacher and Football Coach at Dover High School. Josh recently married and spends his spare time with his new wife and family camping, going to UNH football games, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends.
